CATU Containers S.A. based in Geneva, Switzerland has been active in the container industry since 1974. The company is primarily engaged in maritime container leasing and trading new and used maritime containers. It has long established relationships with many of the industries major shipping lines, suppliers and depot networks allowing it to offer efficient and flexible solutions in a market that is both challenging and constantly changing.
Long term lease and purchase lease agreements can be offered for all types of ISO maritime containers and we work with all the major manufacturers of this equipment. We also offer a recycle package which involves exchanging older maritime containers and replacing them with new equipment.
We have a constant production
of new ISO maritime containers
of various types and colours
and these are positioned from
the factories into a variety of locations worldwide and sold either individually or in larger quantities.
We can also build new equipment, including special containers, to a customer’s exact requirements, colours and specifications and position them, if necessary, into their required locations.
We purchase the disposal equipment from many major shipping lines allowing us to hold stock in many locations throughout the world. Our long term relationships with major suppliers together with our global partners, built up over many years, puts us in a strong position to source and procure equipment whether it is to meet small local requirements or on a major worldwide basis.

Term Lease
Your individual term lease requirements can be arranged to provide for anyone one or more of the following; a duration of between three to ten years, any specific technical specifications can be incorporated in the design and manufacturing process, delivery can be arranged to all destinations worldwide within reason, any type of equipment can be arranged provided that it is ISO compliant.

Financial Lease
Financial leases are available. These can be based upon full payout leases or leases bearing a residual value payable upon the expiration of the contractual lease term. This applies to most ISO compliant containers. All individual requirements can be catered for including a wide range of pick up and on hire locations.

Recycle Business
We can exchange your older containers for new ones with the difference between the sales and purchase prices being payable in cash or reflected in reduce rates by way of a term lease or financial lease. There are no rules to what equipment you exchange, you can change, for example, your old 20’GP containers for brand new 40’GP containers or any other type. You can also sell your older containers in one location and collect the new containers in another. This is a specially designed facility that allows for maximum efficiency and offers a variety of solutions to ease the process of selling older containers and purchasing new ones. New Containers
We can supply your new container requirements for both standard as well as special equipment. We have a constant production of new ISO maritime containers that we position to various locations around the world and these are sold from our stock. If you have a specific requirement in a location where we have no stock availability we will position into that location from our factory stock. Special containers are dealt with on a case by case basis and we are able to offer free quotations for any type of equipment.

Used Containers
We can provide used containers for domestic storage or project cargos. We purchase used containers from a number of shipping lines throughout the world and have global agreements with some of the major lines. We have stock available on the ground for immediate purchase or we can try to source equipment if necessary. We also have a number of partners throughout the world who can offer to convert standard containers into specifically designed equipment such as offices etc.

Flat Pack Cabin Containers
We can supply flat pack cabin containers from a number of manufacturers and have these transported directly to you. They can be delivered flat or already mounted. There are a number of different specifications and sizes so please contact us for more detailed information.
